Ghanaian Military Officer Creates Extraordinary Cake Designs – Shares deep passion for baking (video)
Corporal Amenyo, a talented Ghanaian soldier is the owner of a bakery (Makers King) and has managed to establish himself as one of Ghana’s best cake bakers.
The corporal, who works at Kojo Thomson Road, Adabraka, opposite Rawlings Chambers in the Greater Accra Region, revealed that he has a long history of baking. According to him in an interview with Yen.com, he inherited the gift from his mother, but had never given it any thought until last year, just before the lock down.
With hardly a year under his belt, the CEO of Bakers King has already developed some stunning creations. Aside from professional baking training in Accra, he claims to have learned the majority of his skills from online courses taught by the world’s best bakers.
“I’m always on the lookout for the next challenging project,” the gifted baker explained when asked how he comes up with his designs. “So when a client comes to me, I simply take their idea and come up with something extraordinary for their event”.
So far, the talented baker has created some amazing works. One of the most difficult projects for the talented baker has been a castle cake that can light up. He went on to say that he needed the help of an electrician, a carpenter, and other professionals to pull that up.
A gravity-defying cake that was turned upside down, as well as a cake that descended from the roof, are two other examples.
