Kwaku Manu, an actor-turned-presenter, believes it is past time for the government to begin paying residents on a monthly basis.
In an interview with Accra FM host Nana Romeo, Kwaku Manu stated that even if the government pays everyone GHC 2000, he has still fooled the citizens, but that is not an issue.
According to him, Ghana is rich in minerals and natural resources, and as such, residents must begin to reap the benefits of these riches.
He assumed that the government would have no trouble implementing this because it could be done quickly and easily.
Kwaku Manu went on to remark that, with the rate at which youths are fleeing the country in search of greener pastures, he believes now is the time for the government to compensate the remaining residents on a monthly basis.
