Former player of Asante Kotoko, Mark Adu Amofah joins US Army

Mark Adu Amofah, a former Kumasi Asante Kotoko leading sharpshooter, has joined the u.s. Army after undergoing the necessary training.


In Ghana, Adu Amofah played for Asante Kotoko and Real Sportive, where he established himself as a prolific goal scorer.

He scored 21 goals in 29 games for the Porcupine Warriors before leaving to pursue his career abroad.

He also played for the Black Satellites in Ghana’s youth league.

He then moved to South Africa to play for Bloemfontein Celtic before heading to Europe to play for Sinderskye in Denmark and Beitar Ramla in Israel.

He last played for Sitra, a Bharani football club, before hanging up his boots in 2014.
