“Don’t waste your life fighting for Ghanaians, they won’t even remember you”- Efia Odo

Ghanaians, according to actress Efia Odo, do not deserve her to dedicate her life for them.
In a fiery interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, the former active member of the #FixTheCountry campaign claimed she received threats on social media from anonymous people demanding she stop demonstrating against the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

She stated that she chose to withdraw from the march as a result of the many threats because she was unwilling to risk her life for Ghanaians.

Last year, the #FixTheCountry campaign took to the streets of Accra to demand that the government address the country’s increasing economic and social problems.

This campaign began on social media, when Ghanaian youth used their several accounts to demand accountability, good governance, and better living conditions from the government.

Since its inception in May of last year, the #FixTheCountry campaign has amassed a sizable following and support.
