Following her return to the music scene, MzVee has spoken out about her battle with depression.
MzVee told blogger ‘Nkonkonsa in an interview that she was at her breaking point at the time, which is why she took such a long break from music.
She claims she was distanced from her family for nearly seven years because she was so totally absorbed in the music industry, which consumed the majority of her time.
This, she claims, broke her mother’s heart.
Mzvee admitted that cutting herself off from her family was heartless, and she apologized to her mother and siblings.
She claims she had not had any friends until recently.
According to MzVee, she was able to come out of her depression after she began sharing her problems with others.
