The High Court in Accra has dismissed a case brought against First Atlantic Bank by former National Service Person, Deborah Sayram Adablah, who accused the bank and its former Chief Finance Officer, Ernest Kwasi Nimako, of sexual harassment.
Presided over by Justice Olivia Obeng Owusu, the court also ordered Adablah to pay GHc6,000 as compensation to the bank, after the bank’s lawyers requested GHc50,000 and Adablah offered GHc5,000.
The bank’s name was struck out of the case in a ruling on a motion, while Adablah’s lawyers filed a motion to set aside the court’s ruling for execution and order for preservation of a disputed vehicle.
