A 70-year-old man was jailed for burying his own grandchild alive on the banks of the Dutch Komenda in the Central Region.
The guy identified as Kwaku Baah is a ritualist, but the fact that he chose his own grandson to carry out this horrible act has shocked the entire town.
Around 11:45 p.m., Elmina Police Superintendent Abraham Bansah received information that a 2-year-old had been buried.
A member of the Assembly informed them that a 2-year-old boy had been buried on the shores of Dutch Komenda.
They arrived on the location, and the information turned out to be accurate.
Thankfully, the information was received in time, and the child was retrieved alive.
