Mzbel said in a recent interview with Fiifi Pratt that if Castro was still alive, he would have been on the international market.
The renowned artist revealed that when Castro was alive, he used to give her advice on how to proceed with her music.
” I miss Castro terribly and hope he returns.” He was a dedicated musician who took his trade very seriously. If he were still alive, he’d be competing with Burna Boy in the international market.” Mzbel stated this.
On Sunday, July 6, 2014, Ghanaian music lost one of its stars indefinitely. Theophilus Tagoe, often known as Castro, went missing while on holiday in Ada, a town in Ghana’s southern region.
Castro was on tour at the tourist destination with longtime friend and Black Stars of Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan.
Gyan, who recorded a popular song with Castro, reveals that three years later, he still gets melancholy when he hears songs by his vanished comrade.
The Black Stars captain admittedly verified the reality in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show.
Asamoah Gyan discusses how the excursion that resulted in Castro’s disappearance was the first time he and his party visited Aqua Safari for entertainment purposes.
According to contradicting sources, the artist is still alive or has been killed together with his girlfriend, who was riding on the Jet Ski at Ada towards the estuary on the aforementioned date.
