A Ghanaian businessman has received numerous accolades after presenting a needy coconut seller with Ghc 5,000.
The donation was made on Sunday, February 6th by Ohene Kwame Frimpong, Chief Executive Officer of Salt Media Ghana.
He was driving across town when he noticed the sick coconut vendor and jumped out to help him.
According to the businessman, he briefly noticed the man’s face and thought it looked like a deceased relative of his, which prompted him to assist.
He further claims that he noted the man was unwell but still dragging his wheelbarrow around to sell and make ends meet.
As a result, O.K Frimpong decided to give him some money to assist him.
He gave him handfuls of cedis and some dollars, totaling roughly Ghc 5,000.
The coconut salesman, for his part, disclosed that he has been selling coconuts for over 30 years with little change in his life.
He also disclosed that he has three children who are not living with him.
The entrepreneur urged him to put the money to good use for himself and his children.
