A woman has disclosed that she breastfeeds her husband, which has not only brought them closer, but is also beneficial to his health.
Rachel Bailey, a 30-year-old woman from the United States, began the odd practice in 2017 with her husband, Alexander, also 30, and the couple hasn’t looked back since.
The three-mother allegations Alexander hasn’t had a cold in over two years and has received numerous compliments on his skin.
The couple insists that they are not embarrassed by it because ‘nothing evil has come from it all’.
‘It’s a touchy subject, but we wanted to discuss it because we don’t think it’s wrong and we’re not ashamed,’ she explained.
When Rachel was overlactating while nursing their children, Alexander began drinking her breastmilk to help her.
‘I went on a cruise with Alexander when my middle kid, Aria, now six, was breastfeeding,’ she explained.
‘However, I failed to bring my breast pump and was severely engorged for two days.
‘I was in so much pain and worried about catching an infection, so my husband decided to try drinking the milk to help me.
‘We were apprehensive about him breastfeeding from me at first, but after we attempted it, we discovered it was totally good.’
Rachel described Alexander’s latching on as a “instant relief.”
‘On top of that, it has established a more special link between us that we would not have had if we hadn’t started this,’ she added.
He was consuming her milk ‘three to four times a day’ when she was generating the most milk shortly after giving birth.
