Bishop Obinim has jumped to the defense of Nana Agradaa after she was accused of scamming her church members last Friday.
According to the founder of the International God’s Way Church, the events that took place in the former fetish priestess’ church are common in many churches around Ghana, so he doesn’t understand why she should be arrested.
Bishop Obinim went to great lengths to highlight other pastors, including Pastor Elvis Agyemang of the widely attended “Alpha Hour,” who employ a similar strategy throughout their services.
He noted that nobody seems to be commenting about the fact that Pastor Elvis likewise asks for different types of collections and offerings via MoMo. When other pastors in Ghana are doing the same thing, Obinim said, “why are Ghanaians criticizing Agradaa?”
