Berla Mundi, a well-known media personality, received the shock of her life when she went to acquire some roasted ripe plantain, often known as ‘Kofi brokeman,’ in Accra.
Berla Mundi, who had assumed that the roasted plantain would be inexpensive based on its well-known moniker, was taken aback when she learned that one costs Ghc3.
Berla claimed in a video she posted online that she attended a conference in East Legon and that after the meeting, she wanted to purchase some plantain to eat.
However, it is the amount the seller mentioned and the size of the plantain that is giving her a headache, so she decided to broadcast the video online to let the world know how astonished she was.
Despite her dissatisfaction with the price and size, Berla Mundi purchased two and added some roasted peanuts to the mix.
