“Being a celebrity is not an easy it, it is really difficult.”– Kofi Kinaata
Award-winning highlife performer Martin King Arthur, also known as Kofi Kinaata, has spoken up about the pressures and difficulties that come with being in the limelight.
The ‘Thy Grace’ singer lamented that the toughest issue celebrities face is “you can’t be yourself,” since everyone expects you to satisfy them once you become famous.
Right after performing at his ‘Made In Taadi’ concert, he told JoyNews’ Becky: “The worst part about being a celebrity is having to satisfy everyone, the fact that you can’t be yourself and it’s hard.”
When it came to highlighting the positive aspects of celebrity, Kofi Kinnata did not disappoint.
“But the good side of it is some privileges that come with it. For example, paying attention to you whilst in queue although it’s not your turn,” He added.
The singer hosted his annual ‘Made in Taadi’ event on December 24, which drew over 10,000 fans – making him one of the most booked musicians in December, appearing at the majority of the events.
