After dating for 4-5 years, Graduate rejects boyfriend’s proposal, says he is no longer her type

Kimberly Rwizi, a recent graduate from Kuwadzana, turned down her boyfriend’s proposal and threw away the ring, claiming he is no longer her type after being in a relationship for 4-5 years.

This occurred in Zimbabwe. The young man can be seen on his knees in front of his girlfriend and eyewitnesses in the photo below.

One Facebook user responded to the incident by writing, “This is Western culture. And it works for the vast majority of us. However, doing things in our Shona culture might sometimes spare you a lot of problems and disappointments.”

Another lady responded, “Dear young man……the only time you must kneel is when praying….thank you.”
