One of Multimedia’s TV stations, Adom TV has issued an unreserved apology to Nana Akufo Addo and his Government over a bribe scandal issue which was captured in a video aired by the network.
The TV station, on Tuesday, December 1st, availed its platform to the NDC’s Sammy Gyamfi to air a video purported to have captured Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo taking a bribe of $40,000.
Adom TV has now realized that the contents of the video do not represent the full story as it understands. And after digging deep it has been revealed that the video was shot in 2016 when the then candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was receiving a donation for his campaign.
In a statement released by the Network, it appoligized for any harm or embarrassment the video may have caused the President and admits that the publication was in error.
