Accra FM Presenter Nana Romeo sued for defaming Prophet Nigel Gaisie in interview on Restoration show
Accra FM Presenter Nana Romeo Welewele has been sued by Prophet Nigel Gaisie for defaming him.
Abdul Karim, also known by his stage name of Nana Romeo Welewele, made a visit on Stacey Amoateng’s Restoration show.
He revealed in the interview that Prophet Nigel Gaisie, a close friend of his, had attempted to steal his wealthy girlfriend. Romeo asserted that his relationship with the woman in question has ended as a result of Prophet Nigel’s efforts.
In retaliation, the head of the Prophetic Hill Chapel filed a slander lawsuit against Romeo and Stacey Amoateng, the show’s hosts.
He requests an apology, the publication’s retraction, and the payment of hypothetical damages, as well as legal fees.
Prophet Nigel posted on Facebook to let people know what steps he has taken to maintain his reputation.
Mr. Gaisie claims that the interview was an intentional ploy to tarnish or harm his reputation.
