Abena Korkor, a Ghanaian mental health advocate, has disclosed that she is expecting her first child. The 33-year-old resorted to social media to share a video of herself with a baby bump.
Abena Korkor talked out about one of her worst experiences when she had an abortion for the first time a few months ago.
The 32-year-old said her sexual activities with over 100 guys resulted in only one pregnancy in an exclusive interview with Jerry Justice on the Friday special of the Ofie Kwanso show.
However, she stated at the time that the man involved was merely a “friend with benefits,” a contract that did not involve a real relationship or pregnancy, but rather a casual contact with no emotional attachment.
Because of this, the anonymous man refused to father his child with Miss Korkor.
“I will never have a child with a man who does not love or respect me.” I refused to push a pregnancy on a man who did not want me or my pregnancy, therefore, I got an abortion at the time.”
Abena Korkor believes she could have caught some of the renowned men she dated at the time with pregnancy, but she does not subscribe to that school of thought.
“I don’t want to be a mother to any man. Women have a tendency to seduce wealthy and renowned men into having children so that they can continue to bask in the spotlight. But I will never, ever have a child with any man for that reason. “It’s pointless to carry your child if you don’t value me,” she explained.
Abena Korkor appears to have finally realized her dream of becoming a mother.
