Yaw Tog’s mother has disclosed that she had a prophesy concerning her son’s road to popularity. Yaw Tog is Ghana’s youngest award-winning rapper and composer.
Joyce Mensah, Yaw Tog’s mother, said she is not shocked by her son’s sudden celebrity status since a prophesy given to him when he was small said that he would become a prominent figure in Ghana.
Mensah, on the other hand, had no idea that her son’s fame was linked to music since she assumed Yaw Tog was going to be a footballer.
Yaw Tog, she claims, was actively playing football over ten years ago when the prophecy was made, to the point that he would sometimes refuse to attend to school. His pals dubbed him “champion” since he played football every day.
“But because I didn’t like the neighborhood where he was playing, I would occasionally hide his boot and take his ball” according to Yaw Tog’s mother.
Raising Yaw as a single mother was difficult for the mother, which was one of the reasons he didn’t want him to play in that neighborhood.
This, she said, made her concerned about whether or not the prophesy would be realized at all.
Yaw Tog was singing in church, she disclosed, and she described her son as humble and serene, owing to his knowledge of his history.
