A Ghanaian man arrested after telling police that his uncle had hired him to assassinate his landlord (Watch)
Francis, a young Ghanaian man, was arrested after informing his landlord that his uncle had hired him to kill him.
Francis claimed his uncle handed him a gun to kill the man over a piece of land, according to a post on Crime Check TV’s official Facebook page.
He pretended to be interested before informing the man he was supposed to kill.
The man went ahead and reported the incident to the police, but Francis claims that because his uncle is a friend of the Assin Fosu Police, he was handcuffed and held in custody for two months despite presenting the police with a voice recording of his uncle’s murderous orders.
He claims he was labeled a blackmailer and has spent the last two years in and out of court.
