“Nigerians need Ghana Jollof to differentiate between good food and gravels”- Nana Aba Anamoah
Despite the passage of time, Ghanaian Jollof and Nigerian Jollof remain two of Africa’s most competitive comparisons.
As a result, the two countries’ World Cup qualifiers have been dubbed “The Jollof Derby.”
The first leg of the World Cup qualifiers play-off was held at Ghana’s Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi. which ended in a 0:0 draw.
Ghanaian broadcaster and GhOne general manager Nana Aba Anamoah begged the Nigerian team in Ghana to eat some decent hot Ghanaian Jollof so they could identify the difference between Jollof (Ghana Jollof) and the gravel (Nigerian Jollof) they had been eating at home.
In her own words; The Naija team should be served jollof so they can experience the difference between food and gravels.
