Groom Dumps Bride on Wedding Day After 10-Years Of Dating – Photos
On the day of the wedding, the groom she had dated for ten years failed to show up, leaving the bride with an egg on her face.
No promises written on their clothes during their courtship came true on the wedding day.
Sasha Aristide, 29, spent three years planning her wedding with her life partner, unaware of the upcoming humiliating experience.
Sasha, a nurse, said she met Kevin Hyppolite, the office manager, 10 years ago and fell in love.
The two fell in love in December 2017 and began planning a lavish KSh 2.1 million weddings.
Kevin kept in touch with Sasha to ensure everything ran smoothly.
In July 2020, when the wedding was supposed to take place, the couple remained faithful to one another; nothing rattled Sasha’s antennae to suspect foul play.
Sasha and his team dressed up for the wedding knowing all was well.
She walked up to the altar and waited for her man to arrive. But Kevin was late and kept blaming his Uber.
The clock ticked as the bride slink around the altar in her magnificent gown, waiting for the groom.
When her florist called to say they couldn’t get into the venue, she was worried. According to Aristide, her florist was denied entry to the venue to set up the flowers.
A second phone call from a bridesmaid informing Sasha that the intended venue was not available hit her hard.
After Kevin assured her that everything would be fine, she continued getting ready with her six bridesmaids and maid of honor.
She discovered the wedding venue had been canceled for non-payment.
In fact, when I spoke to him the night before, he said he loved me and couldn’t wait to marry me. We spoke all day.
At 2:30 pm, I realized I had no emotions. I felt numb and stunned. According to the New York Post, Sasha felt like she was in a trance.
Not knowing what to do, the bereft bride was forced to return home and face the harsh reality.
Kevin reached out to Sasha one week later to try and mend fences.
“It just happened that way,” said the would-be groom, denying any knowledge of his absence from the wedding.
In response to a question, Kevin said: “It wasn’t planned, it just happened.”
