Controversial Ghanaian private lawyer, Maurice Ampaw has in an interview on United Showbiz declared that all men who deceive ladies to have their ways with them are all rapists not necessarily forcing them into bed.
speaking with the Host Nana Ama, he said that sexual intercourse should be a mutual agreement, and if that agreement is based on a condition, the condition must be met.
“If someone uses an iPhone as bait for sex and later refuses to honor the promise, such an act is described as rape because the act was based on deceit”. he said.
Maurice Ampaw went forth in stating that rape often happens in many marriages but our culture doesn’t see anything wrong with a married woman forced to have sex with her husband simply because they are legally married to them.
“The fact that she is married to you, doesn’t mean you can have sex with her anytime you want. You still need permission even if she is your wife,” he added.
