“I will not use $40,000 to do music video, I will rather use it to do rice business”- Celestine Donkor blast Empress Gifty
Celestine Donkor, a Ghanaian gospel singer, has claimed that, while she enjoys recording gospel music and music videos, she would rather invest in a rice-selling business than spend money on music videos.
Empress Gifty, a gospel singer, recently said she spent over $40,000 (GH250,531) on her freshly released music video for her song ‘Eye Woa.’
Celestine Donkor, however, revealed in an interview with Adom FM that the most she’s ever spent on a music video was 12,000gh.
The host then inquired if Celestine would spend $40,000 on her own music video project, referring to Empress Gifty’s $40,000.
‘I’d rather spend that money for a rice company,’ the ‘ONLY YOU’ singer replied. I’m going to buy rice from China and sell it.’
