Mary Dzoemeda, 27, has been missing since she left her home on Friday, June 18th, for an all-night prayer meeting at Weija Mile 11.
Dzoemeda, who was in a rush to lead the church’s singing band, departed home as early as 7:30 p.m. for the event, which was scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m. that night.
Dzoemeda did not call her family to let them know if she had arrived at the camp or not until Saturday morning, after which she did not return home after the service.
The family has been reporting the incident to the Weija police force since Sunday 20 June, but Mary Dzoemeda has still to be found after leaving home on Friday evening.
Mary Dzoemeda is a devout Christian from the Weija Mile 11 Dzoemeda family. She is her family’s most active churchgoer, and she has never missed one of her church’s regular prayer gatherings.
The family assumed Mary Dzoemeda was attending her regular church meetings, but they had no idea the church was not holding any prayer services on Friday, June 18th.
The Dzoemeda family, knowing Mary’s gift as a gospel singer, did not inquire as to which church she was attending because of her frequent Presbyterian Church meetings, nor did they inquire as to what time she would return.
The family assumed she was headed to the Presbyterian church at Weija Mile 11 for an all-night service, but they had no idea she was going to a different church.
The Presbyterian Religious of Weija has not scheduled any prayer services for June 2021, but the Dzoemeda family thought Mary was going because of her church affiliation.
No one knows which church service she attended, and all attempts to contact her singing group have been unsuccessful because none of them were invited to the event. On Friday Night, Mary Dzoemeda went.
Mary Dzoemeda has been a vocal member of prayer all-night gatherings since she was a youngster, and she has never missed an all-night session, whether organized by her church or another church. As a result, she frequently receives invitations to perform at all-night events from various pastors and religious leaders.
Mary Dzoemeda is well-known among pastors and event organizers since she never charges for any all-night parties she attends. This is not the first time Mary Dzoemeda has been on such programs without informing her family of the church’s name, as they are well aware of her gospel singing abilities.
All the family knew was that she was supposed to return before Saturday morning after leaving home on Friday evening, but Mary never did.
When all of her numbers failed to go through, her relatives realized she was missing. Since Saturday morning, none of Mary’s known phone numbers have been answered, and none of her close friends have any idea where she is.
