A Nigerian preacher has confessed to murdering his wife and burying her in a small grave behind his house.
According to reports, people of the neighborhood got suspicious when the pastor’s children reported to their neighbors that they hadn’t seen their mother in days after she had a disagreement with their father. The community’s youngsters, led by their president, Johnson, went to the pastor’s compound to to find the mother.
Pastor Enoch, seeing danger, confessed to the heinous deed before taking them to the grave. As the woman’s decomposing body was unearthed, the whole town was left in a state of despair.
“I just got back from the (police) station, and he just admitted to killing the woman seven days ago. According to the children, they (the pastor and the wife) had been having problems, and he would sometimes threaten to murder the wife in front of the children,” Johnson was reported to have stated.
“On this particular day, the guy chased the children away when he and the wife started arguing,” he continued.
