Gospel Musician Francis Amo Speaks Out on Pastors Charging for Preaching: Is it Right or Wrong?
The proclamation of God’s message appears to have evolved into a full-time profession.
During an interview with ZionFelix, Gospel musician Francis Amo shared his thoughts on the practice of pastors charging for preaching at different churches.
He mentioned that pastors nowadays often demand luxurious hotels and other expensive requests before agreeing to do the work of God.
Francis believes that since some pastors are earning from their work, he sees nothing wrong with charging for his own ministry as a Gospel musician.
He referenced a Bible saying about work and eating, stating that those who do not work do not deserve to eat.
Francis emphasized the importance of charging for his craft and shared that he has different levels of charges. He also recounted how a pastor snubbed him and his team after performing at his church for three days in Koforidua.
