Diana Asamoah finally replies to her manager for terminating their 22 years old contract
Diana Asamoah, a gospel musician who has won a lot of awards, has finally talked about some of the clauses in the termination contract she got from her old label in the middle of a social media scandal.
Even though the contract termination was dated August 4, 2022, it first appeared on social media on September 14, 2022, and has since become a hot topic because many netizens find parts of the agreement difficult to understand as Diana Asamoah’s 22-year partnership with music producer Anane Frimpong, also known as Frimprince, comes to an end.
Diana Asamoah said she didn’t agree with Frimprince’s decision to keep the rights to nine of her successful albums for himself.
Wo Na Mani Agyina Wo, Mabowodin, Akoko Abon, Madansidie, Pentecost Gya, Momomme, Wo Damu Fua, Tetelesta, and Pentecost Soree are the songs in question.
In plain English, she told his former producer to get in touch with her songwriter, Pastor Simon Boama, to talk about his desire to own her big albums, which he made between 2000 and 2019.
“With reference to the conclusive part of your letter I plead to differ, any future issues with regards to me (Evangelist Diana Asamoah) using the songs, remaking or remixing them should kindly be channeled to Pastor Simon Boama the writer and author of the songs,” a portion of her letter reads.
