See Reactions as Oliver Barker-Vormawor Travels To Nkrumah’s Home Town To Bath In The Black River
Osagyefo Oliver Barker-Vormawor, a Harvard-educated Ghanaian lawyer and one of the main convenors of the #FixtheCountry organization, traveled all the way from Greater Accra to the hometown of Ghana’s first president, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, on Sunday to bathe in the black water.
The inhabitants of Nkrofo believe that Dr. Kwame Nkrumah bathed in the black water before becoming President of Ghana.
Many social media users who saw his photo spreading on social media assumed he was attempting to become president.
Nkrofo is a tiny town in Ghana’s Western Region. It is the place where Ghana’s first president was born.
