A man in Takoradi, Ghana has been arrested for holding a 10-year-old girl hostage. The girl, Gloria Fiadzo, was reported missing on May 5th by the Anaji police.
Despite efforts to find her, she could not be located. On May 11th, a female neighbor reported seeing Gloria at the suspect’s residence.
The police were notified and were able to rescue the girl. She has been directed to go to the hospital for examination.
The suspect, who is in his early forties, claimed that Gloria was scared to return home because her mother threatened to beat her.
However, Gloria’s father has denied these claims and is waiting for reports from the hospital.
