A very severe accident has occurred in Accra the capital and has caused the injury of 4 people and a lot of damages. The incident occurred at Circle due to a failure of break and overspeeding.
According to an eye-witness who spoke to UTV Ghana, the bus which was a Sprinter is said to be on its way to Cape Coast from Accra but decided to use the circles overhead instead of using the Kasua road.
The car was on top speed while driving on the Circle overhead bridge. So upon descending, the driver applied a sharp break but because the car was on top speed together with the fact that the road was slippy due to the rains, he rammed into a nearby shop, thus, causing damages.
Per the reports, there are three women out of the people injured and their injuries are very severe so have been rushed to the hospital. The police have also towed the car to their station and have held the driver in custody.
From the time of the accident till now there has not been any casualty counted.
