24-year-old Mother arrested for k!lling her 2-year-old daughter and ate her body parts (Photos)
Olivia Naserian, a 24-year-old mother, has been detained for ten days as the Kajiado court investigates the murder charges she faces for killing and consuming parts of her two-year-old daughter, Glory Njeri.
Claiming mental illness as the reason behind her heinous act, Olivia reportedly chopped her daughter into pieces with a knife before indulging in parts of her internal organs.
The police arrived at the scene after neighbors alerted them of the disturbing incident.
Prior to being arrested, Olivia spoke with a newspaper and mentioned hating herself and blaming suffering for her actions without explaining further.
“It’s a bizarre incident. We will be interrogating her to ascertain the motive of the killing. We also want to know if the murder was premeditated,” police say.
On Tuesday, Naserian was brought before Chief Magistrate Jane Kamau who directed that she be held in police custody for an additional 10 days to enable the police officers to finalize their investigations.
