22-year-old woman girl arrested for k!lling her boyfriend during an argument by throwing a phone at him.

A 22-year-old woman has been charged with manslaughter after reportedly killing her boyfriend by hurling a cellphone at his head during a heated altercation at the man’s rented home.

A criminal court in Cafayate, near Salta in north-west Argentina, has named Roxana Adelina Lopez as a formal suspect in an ongoing investigation.

While the inquiry is ongoing, she has been allowed to remain on bail.

Luis Dario Guantay, her late partner, has been identified.

Roxana said she acted in self-defense after being beaten in the face by her lover, according to reports. The phone hit Luis in the temple and he died after going to a hospital A&E unit complaining of severe migraines.

He died eight days after the incident, on April 18, but the news of his death was only made public on Friday, September 24, when it was revealed Roxana was being investigated.

She has not yet been charged with any misconduct, according to Mail Online, because a prosecutor will only file an indictment shortly before a trial.

Luis died in San Bernardo hospital in Salta after a surgery for severe brain injuries he was believed to have had after being hit in the head. His mother reported the incident to police, requesting them to take action against the suspect.

It’s unclear what sparked the altercation.
