John Dumelo, a Ghanaian actor, politician, and entrepreneur, has lamented the poor system that is currently destroying Ghana’s economy.

This was posted by the well-known figure on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

In his tweet, he lamented how indebted one will be if their landlords charge for two years’ rent in advance, despite the fact that they earn as little as 800gh per month. According to him, Ghana’s current system is designed to make people owe before they can face life.

He composed;

Your salary is 800 GH, but your landlord is demanding a two-year rent advance for a small chamber and hall. This entire system is designed to put you in debt even before you begin your life…
