A Catholic priest, Rev. Father Oluoma, of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja has addressed the concept of virginity most girls have due to the teachings from the parent – giving them the notion that they doing so for their husbands.
According to this man of God, no man deserves a ladies virginity since the men themselves are not also virgins. he revealed that The reason the Bible asked you to be a virgin is in Matthew 5. (Blessed are the Pure for they shall see God).
“Your virginity is not for your husband. No man deserves your virginity. it facilitates your relationship with God” he said.
Rev. Father Oluoma went ahead to lash at parents only teach their female children about being a virgin and how to keep it till marriage but fail to teach their male children the same.
According to him, the inability of parents to teach their male wards the same as they taught their girls would cause the male ones to make nonsense of the lesson girls have lent as one randy boy can disvirgin about 20 girls.
