Comedy star Afia Schwarzenegger made headlines when she urged Ghanaian President Akufo-Addo to legalize homosexuality.
Afia stated in a recently trending video responding to the president’s meeting with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris that Ghana could just accept funding from the United States and legalize homosexuality.
She believes that since what someone does in private is none of anyone’s business, LGBT individuals should be permitted to live their lives as they like.
She demanded that marijuana be legalized as well!
Social media users have responded to her remarks, with some claiming that she is adopting this position because one of her sons is apparently gay.
“Ye b3 gye atum bcos ebi ben no👩🦯👩🦯,” one reaction to her video said.
