A man from Ghana, who was in his early 30s, recently took his own life after his girlfriend broke up with him for a wealthier man.
The man, named Kwame Peter, had spent all of his savings on his girlfriend, Amina, and her family. He even paid for her brother’s tuition fees and relocated him from the village to the city.
Despite all of this, Amina left him for someone else because he was no longer financially stable.
In an emotional WhatsApp audio that has since gone viral, Kwame Peter expressed his pain and betrayal. He revealed that he had sent money to Amina’s parents whenever he had extra cash and had made sure they were comfortable.
However, they still chose to abandon him and give their daughter to another man. In the latter part of the audio, Kwame Peter cursed Amina and her parents for their actions.
This tragic story highlights the importance of valuing people for who they are, rather than what they can provide financially. It is important to remember that money cannot buy love or happiness.
