“You were supposed to bury me, not the other way round”- Mother of K!lled Immigration Officer Cries (video)

In response to the news, the mother of an immigration officer killed in the Upper West Region has expressed her feelings.

The mother of Ghana Immigration Officer Michael Ekow Otoo, who was killed in the Upper West Region, has responded to the tragic news.

Adom TV reporters paid a visit to the deceased’s family home, where the mother received them with tears in her eyes.

When she wailed that the son was supposed to bury her, not the other way around, one could see the agony in her eyes.

While on night patrol duties on the Ghana-Burkina Faso border, Michael Ekow Otoo was shot in Kokoligu, a village between Nandom and Hamile.

After carrying out this horrific murder, his killers concealed his body under a bridge.

The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) says, “A preliminary inquiry found that the officer was shot six times in the back by assailants who were primarily suspected of being smugglers.

It was also discovered that the officer who was killed had a struggle with his assailants before his death.”
