“You two are just kids”- Oma Lay tells Ruger and Victony
Numerous people responded to the tweet, with some supporting Ruger and others criticizing him for choosing the easy way out.
Omah Lay, who recently released his debut album “Boy Alone” on Friday the 15th, decided to weigh in on the situation in an unexpected turn of events.
Ruger had some guts to inform BNXN that he had no solo hits, Omah Lay wrote in a tweet. Omah Lay also recalled Victony somewhat needlessly quoting his tweet with a “LOL,” from which he deduced that both Victony and Ruger were young people seeking influence.
“Ruger get mind dey talk about bnxn like that for this app smh!! mofos do anything for clout out here, same way Victony lol my tweet the other time, y’all are really kids,” the tweet reads.
Omah Lay’s post attracted attention as was to be expected, with the bulk of people labeling it a ruse to promote his new album. In any case, the Afrobeats section of Nigerian Twitter has had a pretty strange day.
