You have only two hit songs and you are charging GHC40,000 – Show organizer blasts Lasmid in new video
A show promoter in Ghana has pounced on rapper and singer Lasmid with anger for demanding unreasonable fees, given his inexperience in the industry.
The young man, who gave his name as Nana Rex, blasted the Friday Night singer for his unreasonable fee, despite the fact that he has only two hit songs and will likely only perform for 30 minutes at any given show.
Rex said in a video posted on Twitter that, other than “expensive” artists like Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Sarkodie, no artist should take event organizers for a ride when asked to perform.
Rex says that promoters should be fair with their prices because by holding events that show off an artist’s work, they are helping to make sure that the artist will continue to be successful.
