“You didn’t even know my name yet you paid my school fees”- Young man eulogizes lady who helped him

Efo Korku Mawutor, a young Ghanaian guy, has revealed an emotive story of how a lady he met out of nowhere chose to personally foot his bills so that he could continue his study. 

Mawutor stated in a LinkedIn post that he was accepted to study at the Ghana Institute of Journalism in 2015 and 2016, but had to withdraw owing to a lack of financial assistance.

“Because my parents couldn’t afford it, I had to pay my own school expenses throughout senior high school. And I was taking care of two of my younger siblings “He reminisces.

Mawutor claims that he went so far as to personally visit the school’s chancellor to plead for a chance to pay the tuition later, and that he even filed for a Mastercard scholarship at Ashesi University, but to no effect.

According to the intelligent young guy, one of his instructors, Madam Makafui Aku Akpah, informed him that her sister, Gladys Akpah, would be able to help him, and he applied again in 2017.

“And, people, this woman who didn’t even know my name or had ever seen my face funded my university admissions costs in 2017.
