Tracey Boakye, a Ghanaian actress, has advised young women not to make dating married men their ultimate goal and cheer for success.
Dating married men for their money, she believes, wrecks families and beautiful marriages.
Tracey Boakye, who goes by the moniker “His Only Chick” when another celebrity tried to snare her married boyfriend, believes it is ethically wrong to date a married man.
“Don’t date married men, it’s not right for someone to get married and toil with her husband only for you to just come in and wreck that home. You can’t reap where you did not sow. Don’t follow any promiscuous married, you might pay dearly for it.
She went on to tell women that instead of perching with a married guy to reap where they haven’t sowed, they should find their spouses and struggle with them.
“Look for yours and work hard. If his belief is in support of polygamy, just like the Muslims, then you can be free to marry,” she told Abeiku Santana in the latest edition of the celebrity profile show, ‘ATUU’.
However, social media users claim Tracey Boakye is unqualified to give such counsel due to her lifestyle.
The actress and producer had two children with two separate men, all of whom are said to be married. In any interview, she has never divulged the identities of her children’s fathers and constantly avoids answering the subject when it is asked.
This has empowered Ghanaians to demand that Tracey Boakye practice what she preaches before encouraging young girls not to do what she did.
