Angel, a mother, was shocked by her boss, who astonished her by giving her nearly GHc1.5 million after learning that she had been homeless.
To discover the woman’s problems, the manager pretended to be a new employee who required Angel’s help.
Her compensation was also increased by $14,000 (GHc84,000) after she was appointed to assistant manager.
Angel, a woman who works at a sporting goods store, has told her experience of becoming pregnant and losing her previous job as a restaurant manager.
The woman told a new employee that she and her children had been living in a shelter. They slept at bus stations at separate times before arriving at that location.
The woman was unable to hold back her joyous tears.
The woman had no idea she was being filmed while sharing her secrets, and the new worker was assisting in the process.
It came out that the person she had been conversing with all along was her boss. To create the perfect disguise, the CEO shaved his head and developed a thick mustache.
The lady was invited to a ceremony she mistook for a sales pitch for the company in order to give her the biggest surprise of her life.
At the celebration, the CEO declared that the woman will be promoted to assistant manager and given a raise of $14,000 (GHc84,000).
Not only that, but the man also offered her a check for $250,000 (GHc1.5 million) to help her acquire a house. He stated, “
”I don’t want you to go back to that homeless shelter.”
Angel dropped to the floor in shock when she received the cheque and saw the amount. In response, she stated, “I went from selling newspapers in Ghana to earning a salary that only 6% of the US population earns.”
“I’m going to tell my kids that we’re not going back to the shelter, that we’re getting our own place now.
The young man tried to check if his buddies could transport him before dawn, but nothing came up due to the short notice.
