The family of the 90-year-old Akua Denteh has commended the Ghana Police for the rate at which they are working on their mother’s case urgently.
this comes after the arrest of the witch doctor Hajia Serena Mohammed, Latifa Bumaye, and other suspects in connection with the death of Akua Denteh.
well, the spokesperson of the family, Salami Mahama in a recent interview expressed how happy they are looking at the rate at which the police are speeding up the case.
“As a family, we can’t only thank the [Ghana] Police Service for the urgency with which they have treated the issue which has led to the arrest of these key suspects.”
He also debunked rumors surrounding their mother’s death that she died at the Salaga Government Hospital.
“We hear some reports from other media outlets that our mother died at the Salaga hospital. It is far from the truth and the police can testify.”
He further expressed trust in the judiciary to also ensure justice is served.
among the eight people who have been arrested is the Chief of Kafaba, Seidu Yahaya has been granted bail, five others who are males and Hajia Serena Mohammed, Latifa Bumaye.
the witch doctor Hajia Serena Mohammed has been charged for murder and will be rearranged to court today, 5th August 2020.

“She would be put before court tomorrow, August 5,”
