Fantana, a Ghanaian musician, recently made a surprising statement that she doesn’t know Wendy Shay, another artist signed to the same record label as her.
In 2019, Fantana was signed to Rufftown Music, a record label owned by Bullet. However, she was not given the attention she deserved and eventually had to terminate her contract with the label.
During an interview on ‘Atuu’ hosted by Abeiku Santana on UTV, Fantana revealed that she only remembers being on the same label as the late Ebony Reigns and “ANOTHER GIRL”.
When asked about Wendy Shay, she denied knowing her and said, “I don’t know who that is, I don’t remember her.”
It’s not uncommon for artists to not know each other, especially if they are signed to the same label but not actively working together. However, this statement from Fantana could be seen as a sign of tension or lack of unity within the record label.
Regardless of the reasons behind Fantana’s statement, it’s important for artists to support each other and work together to create great music.
Hopefully, this situation can be resolved and the artists on Rufftown Music can come together to make some amazing music.
