‘White People Feel Comfortable Killing Blacks Because We Kill Ourselves On Daily Basis’ – Efia Odo
The recent trending news of the murder of George Floyd, a black man by a white police officer in Minneapolis has caused turmoil on social media and the entire world as a whole.
Most celebrities across the globe have taken to their various social media platforms to condemn the act and call for the culprits to be trialed and arrested.
Reacting to this incident, The Ghanaian actress and TV personality, Efia Odo has advised black people to desist from killing each other as it is what the whites base on killing the blacks.
“Black lives matter within the black community too, not just the white. Black lives and pursuits should matter to every black person. Yes, get angry when outsiders kill us but get even angrier when your own kills you. It’s scarring when someone closest hurts you” said Efia Odo in an Instagram post.
According to her, blacks need to do better among ourselves so we can unite and fight for the civil right and respect we deserve.
