Cooper Inveen, a white visitor to Ghana, was one of the victims of the severe floods in the country’s capital.
He posted a video of his hotel room, which was filthy. It was soaked up to the knees.
He chose to discuss the scenario on Twitter because it seemed to bother him.
He captioned the video with the following:
“Waking up in Accra today… how’s your morning going?”
Many Ghanaians were enraged by the post, which sparked a heated debate.
Some thought the post was pointless and dismissed it as a ruse to embarrass the country in front of the Western world, while others saw nothing wrong with it and just regarded it as a man sharing an unpleasant experience.
