Abeiku Santana, a well-known radio host, has chastised the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards board for failing to nominate Kofi Kinaata and Fameye in the prestigious ‘Artist of the Year’ category ahead of the 2022 awards event.
Earlier today, while delivering his Okay FM drivetime show, “Ekwanso Dwodwo,” Abeiku asked the VGMA board and Charterhouse about the sins Fameye and Kofi Kinaata have perpetrated against them to deserve the constant snub.
Abeiku further said that over the last few years, the VGMA board and Charterhouse have developed a pattern of nominating those who appear to be friends of the scheme while denying those who truly deserve the nomination a chance to vie for the top prize on the night of the awards.
Abeiku Santana closed his enraged tirade by joking that he’s leaving both the VGMA board and the Charterhouse bosses in Shatta Wale’s hands.
