Residents of Sehwi Amoaya are in tears following the death of one of their own by a hunter who mistook him for an animal while hunting.
Kwadwo Asoah, a well-known hunter, confused Clement Blay for a Spurfowl, locally known as Akokohwedie, and shot and killed him while out hunting.
Sehwi Amoaya, in Ghana’s Western North region, was the location of a tragic and unfortunate tragedy that has left the town in grief.
As of now, it’s unclear what Clement Blay was doing in the jungle or how Kwadwo Asoah came to believe he was Akokohwedie.
