Wendy shay offers to help Dhat Girl after her sad story went viral online

Wendy Shay of RuffTown Records has promised to assist Dhat Gyal after hearing her heartbreaking narrative of how her life has been shattered.

Dhat Gyal, who was expected to be Ghana’s next big thing after becoming a social media phenomenon a few years ago, has slipped into a life of loss, drugs, and melancholy.

In a recent interview with Okay FM, she shared her tragic experience.

She confessed that she sadly lost her mother when she was 15 years old, in a vehicle accident caused by a thoughtless tourist.

After that, she fell into a slum lifestyle and developed a marijuana addiction.

Things took a tragic turn when she began to gain notoriety for her incredible music mashups and covers.

Someone who knew about her street hijinks created posts to expose her lifestyle just as her videos were making her famous and the world was at her fingertips. She fell into a deep melancholy as a result of this, and she finally shrank away from the spotlight.

Listen to her tell her heartbreaking experience here…

Wendy Shay, a RuffTown Records signee and the self-proclaimed Queen of Ghana Music, has volunteered to assist Dhat Gyal by collaborating on a song with her.

Shay replied to her sorrowful video on her social media account. “Crying listening to ur tale sis,” she wrote. @dhat gyal africa, everything will be ok. Let’s do some music together.”
