"We will continue to increase prices of Alchohol, Drink water if you can't buy it"- MD of GIHOC distillery tell Alcoholics

Ghanaians have been urged to drink water if they are unable to purchase alcohol owing to price increases.

Mr. Maxwell Kofi Jumah, Managing Director of the Ghana Industrial Holding Corporation (GIHOC) distillery, revealed this to all alcohol addicts.

According to a Facebook post from a March 17, 2022 interview with Nhyira FM, the GIHOC MD, Mr. Maxwell Kofi Jumah, said that alcohol prices will continue to rise.

As a result, Ghanaians who are unable to keep up with the price should look for an alternative, which he advised is water.

“We have increased the price of alcohol and we will continue to increase it. If you are not ready to buy then stop drinking alcohol and drink water,”
